When times are tough and cries are being shed what do you do?... YOU CHEER! xD

I love cheer. It IS a sport. Anyone who says otherwise haven't seen the work behind those happy faces, we cheer for 5 hours; doing painstaking excerices and routines. It takes BRAINS, SKILL, and DETERMINATION to be a cheerleader. Here I will post pictures, guides, and quotes.

I have no doubt about all the hard work and choreography behind cheerleading. I wanted to be one but couldn't make the team because I couldn't do a back flip. I could do all the other stuff but that. Oh well! I'm a bit of a clutz (understatement) and I probably would have hurt myself or someone else. I ended up going into cross country running.

I've never cheered in my life, nor do I intend to. I have no doubt in cheerleaders;; it looks really hard, but it just isn't the sport for me. First off, I don't have the skills- I'm not flexible at all, can't even do a cartwheel. Plus, the cheerleaders at my school tend to cluster in cliques, of which I don't apply. xD No doubt in you, though, wowzers, my neighborhood isn't a good one, anyways.

I look forward to learning more about this sport, though. ;D

I cheered in high school and loved it. Only did it my freshman and sophmore year though. It was hard work learning the cheers and not too fun on super cold nights (especially when one girl would forget her tights so no one could wear them Evil or Very Mad ). My favorite time was cheer camp though.

I love cheer camp. This summer I'm going to Bellingham, Washington for an NCA camp. It is always tons of fun!

We don't cheer outside, we have our own gym. And we don't cheer for games or anything like that. ;D

I cheered for football and bastketball. I did wrestling for half a season but it's boring doing all your cheers sitting down.

I dont do cheerleading, as I am a boy. Although, I did do Gymnastics for a very long time, and the best tumbling I learned was a roundoff backtuck. I also know roundoff Backhandsprings, I ALMOST have my arial, and thats about it. I really like the stunts, and I guess you do some of that in cheer.

Yes, you do. Although many males participate in Varsity cheerleading, lifting the girls. To me, it is smart for boys to go on cheer teams; they get to be with pretty girls 24/7. xD

My best tumbling is a round-off backhandspring back-tuck. I can do round-off back-handsprings five in a row as well. I can do front arials on the ground. I can do side and back arials on my trampoline easily.

I am not too strong though, and I dont enjoy lifting. I am more of a person who liked doing the Backhandsprings, tucks, ect.
